Living Room Circus - POSTPONED

Due to the current public health crisis of COVID-19 we’ve decided to postpone Living Room Circus. The time is now to take preventative measures, and we want to be responsible to our performers, our volunteers, audience members and students, and to the broader community at large, and do what we can to prevent further spreading of the virus. We love the energy and community that Living Room Circus creates, and we’re bummed that we have to cancel. Thank you for your support and your understanding!

Join us for an evening of experimentation and risk. Celebrate the raw moments, the process, and the journey of making a performance. What about an act makes you feel inspired? What makes you walk away with more questions than answers?

Living Room Circus is our almost-quarterly showcase of innovative pieces and works-in-progress from performing artists all around Portland and beyond.  Past installations have included aerial acrobatics, spoken word, stand-up-comedy, Chinese pole and multidisciplinary pieces.  As an audience member, you will have the opportunity to give written feedback to the performers as they experiment with new ideas.

Feel free to bring your favorite cushion, sleeping bag, sweater, or whatever makes you feel cozy. Chair seating will also be available.  Please contact frontdesk@thecircusproject.org if you require specific seating needs.

Tickets: Pay-what-you-can (suggested) $5 - $25, No one turned away for lack of funds, however you must reserve a ticket here to guarantee admission.

Drinks and snacks available by donation.
