Grief Cabaret: A Glamorous Mourning

  • The Circus Project 1420 NW 17th Ave. #388 Portland, OR 97209 USA (map)

‘Grief Cabaret: A Glamorous Mourning’ is a contemporary circus theater show exploring concepts of grief and resilience.  This fun, funny and touching show includes contortion, aerial acrobatics, physical theater and comedy, song and dance.

In this past year we have experienced a kind of collective grief worldwide over lives and livelihoods, over ways of being and being together, lost.  Come celebrate with us and revel in the wonder and delight that live theatre can bring!  Each mesmerizing act is inspired by the artists’ own personal experiences.

‘Grief Cabaret’ is the newest creation of Aiya Productions, whose recent show ‘Pole Disclosure’ was lauded as “satisfying and moving” and a “fantastic and very relatable show” by Oregon ArtsWatch.
